Naked Cafe

Time has come to build a naked version of the cafe racer.

Step one is to remove the fairing along with the headlight, indicators, gauges and fairing frame.

Then its off with the wheels to get them polished.

Got the wheels back and fitted up some new wave disc’s from S3 Performance

Next job was to fit the wheels back on, along with a new headlight from an XS650 with some nice polished die-cast ears for that old school look.

The exhaust was looking a bit ratty, so it’s off to have the carbon sand blasted out, then to the chrome platters for a shiny new skin.

Now it time to clean up the front, first I have relocated the ignition

Next its time to make a new top yolk to take the Clubman handle bars and multi function gauge

This Acewell gauge will do everything you could want

Well I have finally had the gauge wired up

I also have the exhaust back from being chromed.

As you can see I have chopped the back and have sent the tank and seat off to get painted.

Now the indicators are on, there is not much left to do.
